My Road Trip From Denver to Seattle - and Back in Five Days.

by Justin Simoni

In the middle of my last semester of college, I decided to take a trip to Seattle - mostly because I've never been there and I have no idea what to expect. I will be documenting the trip in a variety of ways - this is one of them: a journal updated by posts from my picture phone.

About this project

On the July 4th Holiday weekend of 2004, I decided to take on a roadtrip to Seattle, Washington to work on a variety of art experiments - one of which will hopefully become my graduate show.

This is one of the experiments - a moblog; the code for it written in an hour or two in the middle of the night to help capture whatever I find.

My hope that this little journal will be a curiosity in the present of July of 2004 and journals like this (for better or worse) will be completely commonplace in a year. It will be an amazing timeframe for this new way to write down thoughts to take fruition.
